Default nuTsie on Verizon Pearl (or other BB)?

Please Login to Remove!

Anyone able to get nuTsie to work on their Verizon Pearl (or any Verizon BB)? I can't even install it...get an error trying OTA:

907 Invalid JAR String index out of range: 16

There doesn't appear to be a DM install option as far as I can tell.

Any success stories, other failures, ideas? They only specifically support AT&T and TMobile, but do say "go ahead and try" and wondering if anyone else from VZW has?

I don't think nuTsie is supported on the 4.3.x OS...only up to the 4.2.x OS

I can confirm that -- says so on their site. Bummer... I would have liked this.

I'm already disappointed I can't get Pandora.

Hopefully by the time they upgrade the 8100 to 4.3 they will have made nuTsie compatible with it. I use it all the time and would hate if it didn't work when I upgraded

Go to their site and send them an email...that's what I did. Told them this is a "killer app" that I really want.

They are probably just testing this service out on AT&T and TMo right now to see how it will fair. It can't be too far away from releasing on the rest of the carriers. And it is a sweet friggin app I love it. I'm just shocked its free....for now or indefinitely I don't know

I don't imagine free long-term...some sort of subscription model is most likely.

I wasn't able to find any contact email listed on the website. Would someone please PM me the email address? I would like to show my support of a 4.3 version.

For more help, comments, concerns: [email address]

Although nuTsie has not qualified to work with the 4.3 OS or Verizon, it is possible that they indeed do.

Has anyone tried?

If anyone does have Verizon, try the side load links located at nuTsie.com. Log in and enter the "Go Mobile" page.

I've successfully installed the nuTsie application on my Verizon Wireless 8130, however I have not been successful streaming any of the music. I have not uploaded my iTunes though, so it may be different when I see my playlists up there.

Anyways, the error I'm receiving (after the nuTsie default playlist tries to buffer) is "cannot play content."

I'll update you all when I have real playlists uploaded.

Wow...I'm streaming right now..did not expect this to work, actually.

Selected "The Mix" and it buffered and started playing!!

What I uploaded included a ton of music that my son has bought, so I can't tell if what's playing is ours or not. <embarrassed>

In about 2 minutes of streaming there have been two glitches where the music skipped a bit.

Be interesting to see how quickly this chews up the battery, but my son is going to think I am SO cool.

I tried to alt-tab away to another app on the Pearl and Nutsie stopped. Went back to the app and it was on it's home screen again and when I restarted playing it started on another file.

It's still pausing briefly...just did after about 1:22 of the current song (Hendrix - Fire...what a genius).

I'm not actually seeing/playing our music yet. I uploaded from one of our desktops where we have a few playlists set up, but I don't see any of them in the Nutsie client, and the music I can play isn't from my library...can't tell in the client how to tell it to access my account, don't see any settings or permissions along that line.

Hmm... I didn't do anything differently, but now I'm streaming the default nuTsie mix. One thing I've noticed, however, is my iTunes library, while now uploaded to nuTsie, does not appear on my phone. Hopefully with time it will correct itself (like the last problem).

The nuTsie mix is good though! Some great classical.
