I ended up getting an Acoustic Research wired headset. It has the inline microphone so you can make calls with it, it has nice soft ear gels and gel covered ear hooks, and the wire is cloth wrapped so it is more durable than the headphones that came with the phone. It is more comfortable to wear for an extended period of time than the stock headphones. This would be a good headset to go jogging with. It cost me $25 (or $30?) at Best Buy.
Yeah...I looked at going that way, but I just had to get rid of any wires...I am a repeated offender in the accidentally pulling headphone wires and ripping them off my head, or the plug out of the phone, or the phone out of my hand onto the floor, etc.
I'm just plain dangerous...one of my 'musts' when I went shopping for a headset this time w/my new Pearl was wireless. Every choice involves some sort of compromise, of course...
