Default Using Pearl in Singapore?

Please Login to Remove!

I have an unlocked (originally TMobile) Pearl, which I would like to bring with me on my vacation to Singapore (anyone here been there before?) to use in a few weeks' time. I will not be using international roaming, because that will kill me, but instead would like to use a pre-paid stored value SIM card from one of the Singapore telecom vendors. Does anyone have any experience with this, and more importantly, will I be able to use my Pearl with the Singapore pre-paid SIM cards, in Singapore?

You will be able to use it for Voice and SMS text. Data will not work unless you can get a prepaid card with the BlackBerry Data Plan included (difficult, but not impossible).
