Default Outlook Contacts "File As" Naming

My BB displays all of my contacts as First Name, Last Name. Can I switch it to use the "File As" field instead? For example, an entry shows up as John Smith on my BB, but in outlook is filed as Dr. Smith since that's what's entered in the "File As" field.

Welcome to the Forums!

Do you have the title "Dr" entered in the contact of your BB Address Book? If it is not in the Title field of your Outlook, it won't transfer over to the BB. If it is, it should display. I do not believe there is a "file as" reference in the BB address book.

Good luck.

Yes I do but the entry still shows up as John Smith on my BB...unfortunate that the BB doesn't support the File As field, as I have a number of names in my address book organized that way (Mom instead of my mother's name, Aunty Mary, etc.).

Any other workarounds/suggestions?
