Hi, Im looking for a program that can view pdfs, but I can seem to find what im looking for. My data plan only allows me unlimited email access, and any data outside of that is charged at $15 a meg, so I need something that integrates with my email and downloads through my email to my blackberry, preferrably onto my memory card. Beamberry and eOffice seem to both upload to their website, and then the only way for you to access the files is to then download them. Any suggestions? Note: I realize that it comes with one, but that only lets you save one page at a time as a picture, which is not really what I want. Id like something that can save and view without using data.

The Beamberry web site (BeamBerry - View, Print, Store BlackBerry e-mail attachments) says they are in beta, and doesn't say anything about price, now or future.

The way you referred to it ("...is what most use.") I assumed this was an existing product, but it seems like it's new, and that the eventual cost/subscription isn't set yet. Have I got that right?

Also, my Pearl natively displays the same docs that Beamberry supports...is there any reason to prefer Beamberry over what the 4.3 OS provides?

Thanks.

It's just easier to use. No extra key presses to Enhance, etc. Nice display and easy navigation of the pdf document. The virtual file system also allows for some tidy organization if you have enough docs to merit worrying about that.

When I first got my Berry, a buddy sent me a 2 page pdf doc. I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was able to open the doc without any additional software, but quickly found the native way to be a little too cumbersome. Found BeamBerry and it did a much better job.

Nice, tkorpi, all very true.

Besides, danabw, even if it is beta now (they have been for year or so) use it now for free. Decide later if you want to pay for it.

The OP said they were looking for a solution that would provide the PDF without using the browser and getting the PDF via e-mail. That is why I suggested Repligo-they send via e-mail.

I use it every day for my faxes (via PDF)and it works great. I did not know about Beamberry when I got set up with Repligo so I spent the money.

As a note: I did not know there were plans out there that offfered unlimited e-mail but charged for other data as the OP states is the problem. I always thought they were in one large Data "Bucket", not broken down by type.
