Default Any e-mail option for read status?

Please Login to Remove!

I have a Gmail account that I'm trying to sync with my Pearl (Verizon). I've tried a few different methods, the best so far being Mail Connector connected to Outlook (I have a desktop I can leave on all the time).

The main thing I want to be able to do that I can't right now is this: I work at my computer all day...at the end of the day, all the stuff I did on the e-mail (marked items as read, deleted items, etc) isn't synced to the BB. It works from BB to PC, but not the other way around.

Any suggestions of a way to do this? I thought about Desktop Redirector, but I'm not sure it does this.

Redirector will reconcile. So why not use BIS? It does too.

Can I use redirector without Exchange? I only have POP accounts in my Outlook. I was under the impression that you had to have Exchange to use it.

BIS won't reconcile read status for GMail. It seems to work for other accounts (Yahoo, IMAP, etc), but not for Gmail.
