your best bet to find information on that is through the rumor mill on the site.

You know people I really have to wonder if this is really a RIM problem?
Or just perhaps a problem with your respective Mobile Carriers.

Being I have never suffered this so called bug, if it is a bug. I'm with Optus in Australia and haven't had any problems.

hello. i recently upgrade my wife's pearl this this OS.

now when she gets an email w/a .jpeg attachement, there is no "open attachment" option in menu.

FYI - i've made sure i clicked "full menu", i've also done a battery pull and i made sure it was a .jpeg.

lastly, she had no problem with opening attachments prior to the upgrade.

thanks.

This great, everything worked just as explained in the post for downloading and installing. My problem is now the 4.3 version of the desktop manager wont sync with MS Outlook 2000. The calender, tasks and notes part seem to be OK but I've lost all my contacts info and I get an error everytime I try to syncronize my Outlook contacts with my phones contact list. Is there any know compatability problems with 4.3 desktop manager and MS Outlook 2000 or did I do something wrong?

Support for Office 2000 was removed from Desktop Manager 4.3. Remove it and reinstall 4.2 SP2 if you want to sync with Outlook 2000.

Yeesh found 4.5 installed it and the damn thing made the phone reset every minute or so just like 4.3. I'm wondering if they ever release the darn thing if my phone will even take it? And no I don't have the link before anyone asks and gets me yelled at lmao. Search google torrents.

If you have had rebooting problems, then during your next upgrade when the list of apps shows up allowing you to check/uncheck boxes do not check boxes for non-rim applications listed near the bottom...assuming some exist. You may have Viigo, Google stuff, Yahoo stuff, IM apps, etc. Do not restore these. Once the phone does its first boot up, manually install them like you did before.

8120 - 4.5.0.42 (Wi-Fi is sweet!)
8100 - 4.5.0.46 (backup)
8310 - 4.5.0.46 (The Ball & Chains device)
BES 4.1.5 (79)
Exchange 2007 SP1
