Default micro SD not recognized by Desktop Software nor as a removable drive in "my computer"

Please Login to Remove!

The card is, however, recognized by the bb and my pics are now being saved to it.

But, the desktop software only recognized the device memory.

When i plug the bb into the usb nothing happens on the pc. (the one with the desktop software). If i try a pc without the desktop software it "detect new hardware" but it doesn't show a removable driver in the "my computer" folder on the desktop.

It's a Kingston 2GB card that i got for 35$ (with adaptor).

my settings are media card support - on mass storage - on auto enable mass storage - prompt

Thank you very much.

I'd take the card out and put in a card reader and plug it in and format it on the pc. Then put into the phone and format it there, set to mass storage mode and try it again. Make sure that Desktop Mgr is not open when you plug in the phone. That will always mess it up.

Agreed, right click My Computer, go to Manage, go to Disk Management, choose your SD card, right click, choose change letters and use a different drive letter.
