I just noticed that Verizon added an Instant Messenger program free for download from the VZStart home page on my browser. It works for AIM, MSN or Yahoo messaging. Works great on my Pearl 8130. It looks like it uses SMS/text messaging as I get a notice trying to sell me a text package even though I already have unilimited texts.

after using jivetalk i cant go back to the standard vzw crap messenger.
