Dreadfully enough, my Blackberry Pearl will not turn on or even show signs of life. I've had it for a little over a month, it is refurbished, and I have done nothing wrong that would cause such operation.

It does have one problem, it is loose where the charger is supposed to go, and so it doesn't charge correctly. Luckily enough, my roommate has the same phone as I, and so she charges both batteries and we usually switch off.

Just yesterday, as we did this typical switch off, it didn't turn on again. I don't even have a blinking red light.

There is nothing wrong with the battery, as both of them work just fine in her phone, but mine is lifeless...

Anyone who has any clue as to how I can fix it, please let me know.

I don't know what the probelm could be. I would advise you to call support before attemptint anything. Just in case so you don't corrupt the device. I can tell you what I did however the problem/solutions may not be related. Proceed at your own risk.

When mine was non responsive a few days ago on my 8130 I held down the green phone button, the menu button, the back button, and the red phone button all at the same time, for about 5 seconds. Then I held down the mute button for about 8 seconds.

Afterwards I held down the power button for about 5 seconds. This worked for me. It was probably more of a coincidence then anything else.

Again, I advise you to call support and ask them. I took a break from blackberrys for a while but now I am back yet I do not remember how to correctly reboot the device other than pulling the battery.

i had a problem because my charger part of the phone broke and it wasn't able to be fixed, so i bought this and can charge it anytime. it doesnt come with a cord, so make sure you have either the wall charger cord or phone cord to connect to it.
