Default Problems When Sending Calendar Invites - Verizon 8130

Please Login to Remove!

I am a new Blackberry user and I am having issues with calendar invites. Anytime I create an appointment and send an invite, I also receive an invite, which then goes automatically onto my calendar. This creates a double entry. The same thing happens if I accept or decline an invitation that is sent to me - I receive an email saying that the invitation I responded to has been accepted or declined.

I hope that the explanation of my problem isn't too jumbled, but I would greatly appreciate any help that can be offered. Thank you.

Don't know about BES, but if you are on BIS, check your filters and make sure you filter messages sent from your blackberry from being sent to the blackberry.

Log into Verizon BIS at:

https://bis.na.blackberry.com/html?brand=vzw

Then set a filter on your account

"Apply filter when" 'From' field = your email address

Then select "Do not forward messages to device."
