Default transfering pictures from blackberry 8100 to windows xp box

Hello,

I wanted to transfer pictures from my blackberry 8100 to my computer. when i connect my pearl to my computer,i cannot see the memory of my 8100. is it not possible to view my device using windows xp?

Turn on mass storage device on your bb and your memory card should show up in "my computer". You can also use the media manager of desktop manager to transfer photos.

And the key to that is having a Micro SD Media Card.

thanks for the replies,

turning on the media manager worked a treat

why is the key to it a microsd card, can i not take pics, save them to the internal memory and view the internal memory on my windows xp box?
