I purchased an unlock code for my TMobile Pearl to use with my new Sprint service from GSM. I have heard great things about them.

I followed the directions in the email they sent me and entered the unlock code with my TMobile sim card in the Pearl.

Today I inserted my Sprint Sim card and turned the wireless on and it was stuck on "Searching" for about 20 minutes then I gave up.

Did I do something wrong??

Any help MUCH appreciated!!!!

I always get this mixed up so don't panic yet. But I don't think a TMO phone will work on the Sprint network.

Let's wait for some others to chime in here....

No you are right, they wrote me back already. At least I'm not stuck with Tmobile anymore!!

Is there any way to be able to use my former Tmobile pearl on Sprint, like another unlock code, or is that not possible?

At least I can go to AT&T if I need to!

No they are two different network types and devices. Your device is GSM and you have to use a GSM Carrier. AT&T will work just fine. I have them and not no complaints, their coverage is awesome! Sorry but it may work out best!
