I have a BB Pearl. I used to have Googletalk running on there then few days ago, I wanted to download a new version so I deleted Googletalk and installed a new one. Now, the googletalk icon is missing.

I deleted the copy by going to Applications and deleting it there. I didn't delete the modules or the service books.

I tried troubleshooting by pulling the battery out. Deleting the application, modules and service books and reinstalling.

I tried putting wap.voicestream.com for APN.

I tried resending service books from BIS (T-mobile).

I tried registering now in HRT table.

Nothing worked. What should I do now?

Sure you didnt hide it?

Not sure what theme you are using but if you have an icon theme, use the blackberry button to bring up options when you have the screen with all the icons, then select show all..maybe then you will see it. If you see it there go to it and uncheck hide.

If using the list theme, go to the very last item in the list called Organize Applications, and you dod a similar process...
