You can not currently make video streaming work on Telus right now. Apparently the towers can not hand the transfer rates needed for streaming.

Are you sure about that? I've heard that HTC phones are able to stream on the Telus network.

I read it on another BB Forum, that someone contacted Telus and that is what they said. I can not remember the Forum or thread though.

I'm not sure if I believe it. Reason being that Telus has EVDO technology that is apparently more than 5 times faster than Rogers EDGE technology. Why is it that Rogers users can stream and we can't stream. Sounds fishy if you ask me.

As said above, I did not get this first hand. You may be correct, but I was passing along something I read. I do not partake in rumors willingly.

I phoned Telus! They said that they cannot currently stream videos due to limited capacity. EVDO just means that if they had the capacity, you could stream videos very quickly, however, Telus does not support video streaming, nor do they plan to!

Message to all of you: PHONE TELUS AND COMPLAIN!!! They do not plan on fixing this problem and if you ever want to get mobiTV or slingbox working in the future, get phoning!!!
