Default Google calender not syncing properly to my blackberry

Please Login to Remove!

I have a gmail account and downloaded the google sync app to allow me to put in my assignments / events on my google calender and then sync it to my pearl. That way i have my calender every where I go. However, the entire month of March did not sync, including random events in various months not syncing either. Is there something I can do? I click sync again on my phone but it says nothing changed. Please help if you have any idea how to fix this. Thanks!

anything created in outlook will not sync with google sync. also the default sync period is 4 weeks, you can change it up to 16 weeks in the options.

Default I'm not using outlook though?

I never have used outlook though. I just put all of my appointments on google calender for the upcoming year and only a select few events were transfered to my phone? Also, when I receive an e-mail and click delete on both handheld and mailbox, it doesn't delete it on my gmail account like it should.

how do you change the default sync period from 4 weeks to 16 weeks? Is this a setting on the blackberry or on the google server?

EDIT: I figured it out - it's under Options in Google Sync on the actual BB. Not sure how I missed this the first time.

If I want it to update faster, what does chaning the default sync period to 16 weeks even do?

Do you happen to know what version of BIS you are on with your network provider? Older version of BIS service have to have this option selected, whereas the newer version (2.4) has this automatically selected.

Do you have more than 1 google calendar? I have 6 myself, but only really sync 4. If you use multiple calendars, that may explain why random events are missing. Just make sure that you select the calendars you want to sync in google sync and it should work.

Hope that helps.
