Default Handango on 8130

Please Login to Remove!

The last time I installed this a few weeks ago it locked up my entire phone and I had to do a hard reset via the command prompt.

Has anyone installed it on the latest altell OS without issue?

Default Handango sucks

The first day I got my new blackberry pearl 8130 from sprint I tried downloading the Handango mobile software OTA to my phone and it completely locked up my phone. The phone shut off and the status light sstayed lit red.

Yep. Many instances of the Handango application wiping out any device with OS 4.3. Don't load it. That doesn't mean all applications from handango are bad. It's just the Handango app.

I have had many issues with the Handango App on my Curve. I deleted it. I buy a lot of software from Handango but just use their website from my computer.

They were aware of it when I called them, but they don't appear to have done anything to warn customers...not good business practice.

You should be able to purchase them through your PC. I wouldn't worry about it. Most of the apps aren't that great anyway.
