Default JSanders Sir....? (or anyone else who can help) - 01-24-2008, 11:05 AM

Once again i appeal to your wealth of blackberry knowledge.

I'm off on a business trip to Cologne Sunday, and I would like to save a word doc and a pdf, to be able to email from my lovely pearl, upon demand.

I have two questions....

1. How do I save, and to where on the phone, a word document or pdf.

2. How do I save a pdf to my phone, that can be accessed to show new graphics for the packaging I have designed.

Many, and i mean this, many thanks in advance.

Beamberry or Eoffice will allow both of these. Neither of these options is free however. I believe Eoffice still has their 7 day trial running, not sure about Beamberry

Using the product BeamBerry, that is all very easily possible.
BeamBerry - View, Print, Store BlackBerry e-mail attachments

Great product for what you need. BeamBerry will save to your Media Card or their servers for later access (saved to your Media Card, it still needs their servers to render the image). From there, to email, you would compose a new email and attach the document from BeamBerry to your mail.

That said, THE simplest way to do this would be to email yourself the documents in a separate email, save that email, and when needed, forward that email to the recipient. Or to open the email and view the PDF to show the packaging you have designed.

BeamBerry will display your PDF and doc files more clearly and "professionally" than the native BB OS.

Good luck. I wish I were headed to Cologne again, I was last there in Summer of 89.

BeamBerry has a trial period... test it during your trip while it works.

Did you say confections... chocolate? Perhaps we need to talk. lol

Have a good trip, and success in your business venture.
