Default Viewing Pictures on 8130

Please Login to Remove!

Don't know if this has an answer or not...if not, then I'm just venting.

When viewing pictures that you've taken with the camera, is there a way to change from picture to picture without having to go back through the menu and hitting next picture. Most phones have the ability to just switch pics with the up/down key or one of the number keys.

This isn't a problem when only looking at a couple, but when you want to view several pics, it can be a nussance.

Thanks!

Hey it's made by RIM not by Kodak....

Just playing, I have heard this ask before and I have not been able to find a way to do this without exiting the picture and scrolling to the next in preview mode.

Sorry!

This may not work on the 8130, but try it-- this shortcut does work on the 8100.

In the Media Player, viewing pictures, simply press 6 to move to the next item, and press 4 to move the previous picture.

Are you sure JSanders??? I have a VZW 8130 and tried the 6 and 4 to navigate through images... no dice. If the image is zoomed, then 6 and 4 will pan left and right. Would really like to be able to go quickly from one image to the next???

I have tried every key combination I can think of and can't find a single key press that will do Next or Previous.

You can, however, press Menu, N, Enter (with a picture open, not in the 'thumbnail' view)....not the best.

The other thing you *can* do is 'View Slide Show'. If you go to a picture in the list or in Thumbnail view, click Menu -> View Slide Show and it will go thru them (starting with whichever picture you had highlighted.

4 and 6 still don't work, though. You can also set the Slide Show Interval to 1 second if you want to go thru them quickly.....and it only goes forward, not backwards thru the pictures.
