Arrow qwerty issues

anyone else getting texting issues where it sometimes wont register the second letter?

for example, when i type in the phrase "The quick fox jumped over the lazy dog"

it more than likely types out "The quicjj fppx jumooed over the laztt dog"

as if it doesnt want to process the secondary letter. I tried all the key rate (fast, normal, slow) and a hard reset and i still have this problem. I just got this bb on 1/20/08. Is this an issue that i can take up with tmobile and possible get a replacement since its a hardware/software issue.

You might be able to get a replacement from them as it's only been 5 days.

Nothing was spilled on the keyboard though, right?

Get a replacement if it's only 5 days old. I would be curious to see if you enabled suretype if you were able to type the sentences correctly.

Does anyone know how many days after purchase is it too late to get a replacement phone? 30days?

Nothing spilled on the it. It noticed the issue on 1/23/08 and didnt think much of it. Thought maybe it was just me miss typeing but then it kept occuring.

I think with Tmo, you have 30 days.

I know both AT&T and Tmo are 30 days unless there is noticeable physical damage.

my gf is having the same problem with her pearl. this all happened (among other changes) when i upgraded the OS to the most recent one (4.3?). anyways, its something i probably shouldnt have done since shes kinda pissed off about it. im going to downgrade it back to 4.2 and hope that it works like it used to.
