8130 so slow lately
 

any ideas on how to speed up my verizon pearl. all of a sudden in last two weeks its gotten slow! very slow in responding to key presses. texting is horrible, it cant keep up with my typing anymore. any ideas on how to clean it up or optimize it?

Pulling the battery to reboot will clear the memory is the most recommended and easy thing to do.

Ensure that you close all of your programs that you have been running. Hitting the red power button to close programs doesn't always close them, just puts them in the background. select the blackberry button next to the green button and hit it again and go to switch applications. Then select apps that are running in the background and click the blackberry button again to bring up a menu and select close.

Sorry if it was broken down barney style but many people leave applications running and not closing them properly. Hope that helps.
