when reading about the install of the alltel OS 4.3 for CDMA 8130, there was a step to delete the app loader file. why? what would happen if i left it? thanks

It says to delete VENDOR.XML, right?
Seems like I type this a lot.

VENDOR.XML is set up by Desktop Manager, and it stores the original vendor of the BB in the file. If you do NOT delete it, you can not load software released by another carrier.
