| This was when you installed desktop manager (DM), I assume? If so, uninstall DM, reinstall, and select the Blackberry Internet Service (BIS) option.

| I'm not sure. I'm going to have to think about it. Maybe someone else will jump in with the answer.

| You have the setup wizard icon on your home screen, right? When you click on that, then select email setup, are you saying you have no options there?

| For now, you can set up your Yahoo email at your my t-mobile page. If you don't have a my t-mobile account, it is easy enough to create. But, do you have a blackberry data plan? A blackberry specific data plan. Not just a generic carrier data plan for a phone. This may be why you don't have that option.

| Try setting up the yahoo email in BIS at the t-mobile site and let's see what happens. I don't know what the fallout is of having selected the BES in the setup wizard. Until someone else knows exactly what to do, feel your way through and see what works.

| Note that a user can have BES and BIS on the same blackberry, so I'm not convinced you need to do anything drastic yet, even though you will not be using the blackberry on a BES. As I said, let's see what works.

If you didn't get the confirmation window pop up at the t-mobile web page, nor the confirmation message to the blackberry, then it appears something didn't work. To be sure, you can look at options > advanced > service book and see if you have the two @yahoo.com service books. Also look at the t-mobile BIS page again and see if it shows your yahoo account or not.

Let's back up. You said you have a data plan, but is it a blackberry data plan? I assume it is because you say you used the tmobile BIS site. However, if you do not have a blackberry data plan, then that is the problem, and you will not have internet email on the blackberry without it.
So, if you have the blackberry data plan, take a look at service books again. Do you have any service books listed at all, or is it empty? Try the following:
Go options > advanced > host routing table > register now. Wait a bit and see if the service books get pushed to the blackberry.
If registering isn't the cure, either go back to the tmobile BIS site and first see if the yahoo account is there or not, create it again if necessary, being sure to save, and send service books just in case, for good measure; or, and maybe better, call tmobile, explain what's happened, and see what the CSR can tell you.
Wish I could do more. If you have a data plan, I don't know why you lost that option in setup wizard, nor why you wouldn't be able to do the email setup at the tmobile site.
Good luck. Post back what you figure out.

Spread the word to friends a colleagues who may be getting a blackberry. A data plan is not necessarily a blackberry data plan. Blackberrys are different.
