Default 8120 - No "Message Waiting" LED flash

Please Login to Remove!

I think I am being thick here, but I can't seem to get the LED to flash when I have new messages or missed calls, like I could with every other BB I've ever owned. Where is the setting that controls this? I looked in Email Options, Phone Options, Options|Screen/Keyboard, no joy.

I'm on v4.3.0.79 (O2) firmware if that's relevant.

It won't flash red for Missed Calls, but it should for voice mail if you get a voicemail alert from your carrier in your message list.

I get VM alerts, but the point is no matter what I do, I don't get red flash for waiting messages, email/VM/SMS.

Go to Profiles > Advanced > Active Profile > SMS Messages > Repeat Notifications = LED Flashing.

Voicemail alerts come from your carrier as a form of SMS, and therefore VM alerts will always match whatever you have for SMS.

Do the same for your email, in Profiles, listed as Messages.
