Default Unlocked Pearl having trouble connecting to T-Mobile Data, Halp!

Please Login to Remove!

So I am in the Czech Republic and just got a pre-paid sim card with T-mobile which has an unlimited data plan. The phone aspect works as normal, however i can't get the Data aspect set up. When i try to register with the network a message says "Registration message queued. It will be sent once data coverage is available." I was in the store with the guy and he didn't know why (he didn't know about BB's) but obviously in the center of prague (and all over) i am in data coverage. I just checked the FTP thing where i make whatever wap.voicestream.com

What should i be doing? checking? etc?

You may need to check the APN settings for the specific carrier. Check blackberryfaq.com and google.com for the proper settings. It seems like that would be a regular cell data plan, not a BB plan.

after inputting the APN, pull the battery while powered on to reboot.

Yes, you may need a BB specific data plan, often the case

There is usually no BB data plan on prepaid plans. Without BB data plan, no BB data.
