Default Any way of removing BB pictures/game?

Please Login to Remove!

I'm just trying to free up memory. I've done the other things that have been suggested like removing the sample video. I have a medical program loaded that takes up 9 MB and I'd like to free up space. I don't need the game or all the pre-loaded pics. Anyway of getting those off?

I've had the memory leak issue. Regarding the memory leak issue - does anyone know if the only fix is removing the battery briefly? I read somewhere that if you did the auto on/off, that would also fix it. Is it true?

Thanks! This site has been VERY helpful!

Welcome to the BB Forums.

I have never heard of the auto on/off fixing anything.

Yes you can remove the sample video...

Remove the pics by navigating to them and deleting.

To remove the game, go options > advanced options > applications and then select the game application, then select delete.

And agree auto on/off is not going to doing anything to help.

I had already removed the video thanks to that link!

I did get the game off. The pre-loaded pics have little locks next to them, no option for deleting under the menu. Anyone know how to get around the "locked" items?

I thought the auto on/off sounded too easy! I have it set, we'll see what happens.

Remove the foreign languages too (same way as video). I think to remove the pix and stuff you have to remove the files from the OS, you can't do it from the phone (I don't know how to do that). Before you mess with that see how much free memory you have. I have about 28mb after removing just the video and languages. If you do that's enough to install that program. Mine never dips much below 19mb no matter what. Those little pix can't use much memory anyway.
