just a heads up for anyone who was planning on buying the housing, it does not really fit. the housing is exactly the same but the keypad is not. as you can see from the picture it is "thicker" while the verizon keypad is recessed.

Has anyone else experienced this? I was looking to purchase one to switch out with my Verizon Silver.

I want them to get the red housing in. Verizon is the only damn carrier that doesn't have red! Just my luck

I want the red housing with the OEM Red faceplate. . . that would be sick!

so does the rest of the housing work besides the keypad?

Cnn.cn now has the red housing and CDMA red keyboard in stock (as of Feb 10, 2009). I just ordered them! I may be taking a chance with the keyboard... but I've been longing to switch out my pink Pearl for a red one forever!
