Just got an 8 GB card for my new 8130 from Verizon. Someone said it worked fine, just had to format it using the Meda Mgr?

Anyone know how to do this?

You need to go into options> Media Card> Push the menu key and format card.

you may or may not need to format it in the device. With the media cards i have i have never had to format it, just wanted to.

Never had to format any SD card...they come pre-formatted. What does need to be done, is many devices need to put their file structure on it. The Pearl does this automatically when you insert it the first time...
