disable or turn off autocaps? just wondering if anyone knows a way to turn it off? i know you can go into autotext and select specified case for a lot of the words, but as you can imagine, that would be a lengthy process. it's not absolutely necessary, but it's kinda stupid replying "lol" to a text and it automatically get sent as "Lol." |
set autotext for the words you dont want to be capitalized. ie, set lol to show as lol not Lol |
yeah, i know, i just didn't want to have to do it that way. i guess that answers my question, though. no other way. thanks. |
i dont think you can disable auto capitalization across the board |
might be a good idea for future devices. of course i don't think most people are as anal as me. |
actually since you have a suretype device you could correct the caps a couple times and the autocompletion would change the word for you |
i tried that, but it wouldn't let me go back and make the letter lowercase. tried deleting, tried retyping the word several different ways, it just keeps capitalizing it. |
Right after you hit the space key and the word gets gets auto-capitalized, just hit the delete key twice and then the space key again. Cap is gone. |
I guess BlackBerrys haven't caught up to IM-speak yet. Pity. |
