| Pearl (8100) water damage Please Login to Remove! What a great forum.
Need help answering the following:
Had my Pearl dropped in water cup yesterday while driving (dummy me!!!!) and took it out immediately. At first, phone was working, but screen flickered a little bit. Took the battery cover and could see that 'water damage indicator' did turn red which is telling me that warranty replacement won't work. Had the battery and phone dry out overnight - turned it on this morning and got very dimmed (almost black screen - can barely see what is on the screen). Phone is working fine - receiving and making calls, reading e-mailes. etc.
Can LCD be dry out if I open up the phone or I am out of luck? Maybe dummy question, but asking anyway. Thanks all. |
