I have the blackberry pearl from ATT/cingular. I want to know if there is a way to copy pdf and excel files from my computer to be viewed on my pearl? If so how do I go about doing this? Is there any way to edit the excel file while on the pearl. Also, I would like to know about using microsoft money on my pearl and syncing it with my desktop version. Any thoughouts?

The copying part is easy with a media card, just plug the BB in and enable the media card and it will show as a drive in Windows( and probably other OS's ). As far as opening these files, I've never tried it so I cannot help you there.

Btw, I haven't tried access a BB without a media card from a PC...I don't know if it would work or not.

I know you can copy them to the media card but I would not know where on the card to put them to be opened nor how to open them once they were there. I thought I read that it can open pdf and microsoft attachments and allow you to view them so why not files from the card?

You need eCell or eOffice to view and edit them.
You can use BeamBerry to simply view them.

Those are both commercial applications.

Where you you put them on the media card when you transfer from the computer in order to see them with beamberry?
