I'm on a Sprint 8130, recently upgraded to the alltel OS. Tonight, I noticed that I can no longer open the "about" screen in the settings menu. This absolutely worked after the alltel upgrade; tonight is the first I've noticed it not working.

Is this a database that can be restored... what can cause such an odd malfunction? Or better yet, what can remedy it?

Did you happen to remove the Voice Activated Dialing? That disables the About screen. But you can do hold down the ALT and type EACE from the main screen to get what you need.

Indeed I did disable voice activated dialing... I had no idea that would take down anything with it. Glad to know it's nothing corrupted. Thanks for the quick info. Much obliged.
