I just acquired a Pearl (8100). I like to use my PDA to leave short voice mails to myself (like when I'm driving). The manual says there's a function called "Voice Notes" which is supposed to be in media application. I don't see anything like that when I go to Media (just music, video, ringtones & pictures). Does anyone know if voice notes is, in fact, available on the Pearl. I did try the "send voice note" function and it works, but it's more of a hassle because I have to send a vm to myself first (via MMS) which requires locating my own address, etc. Kind of a hassle. Anyhow, I'd appreciate any advice. Thx!

WSebIs have ported its Note2Self application from Windows Mobile to BB. Voice notes are automatically sent via email to your email address (or anywhere else I guess) for pick up later.

Certain OS don't have the voice notes, the new OS due out for release adds this feature. I hope they add an alarm function to the voice note reminders...

T-Mobile Pearl's have an icon of a microphone labeled 'Voice Notes Recorder'. Should be on the Home screen with all the other icons. If not, check to see if its hidden and unhide it.
