Movies usally range anywhere from 500MB to a few gigs depending on the quality and size. I am totally new to BB's so I'm not sure if people scale them down.

I went with a Kingston 4GB card, but people have up to 8GB. Many also like the brand SanDisk.

^^^ Sandisk SDHC? ... like this? SanDisk 4GB micro SDHC Memory Card - 4GB microSDHC, SanDisk SDHC, 4GB Micro SD High Capacity, SanDisk Model SDSDQ-4096

I've not tried the SDHC yet and was wondering how they were performance wise ... Do you have any other cares to compare speed against?

There are 1GB Kingston's floating around for $8 shipped.

I went with a 4GB since I love to bring lots of music along with me.

I just picked up this card from CanadaComputers this evening. Act fast since the special is only on for a couple more days. Whether it works or not depends on the phone you have and its OS version but it should work on the Pearl running BB OS v4.3.0 (like mine)
