I apologize in advance if this is an old question etc, I tried looking around but didn't find my answer.

I just got a new 8130 from Verizon yesterday and really love it already, what a great phone. My question is this, when I reply or send an e-mail using my POP gmail service on the 8130, I immediately receive my own message back in my incoming message box as a new message. I've looked over and over trying to figure out if there is a setting to take this away as it annoys me a great deal already.

Can somebody help me out please? Or is this just how it is.

Thank you for the quick post I appreciate it.

I went to Verizon's BIS login (I didn't know about BIS), I entered my information from the inside of the phone, and was told that my account isn't accessible via HTML, and that I have to access my BIS via the browser on the phone.

Sorry to be such a newb, how do I do that? I know how to use the browser, but where do I go for the mobile login? The same page as I tried on the computer?

Open the Email Settings icon from your Blackberry. Then select the option to create user name. Once your user account is created then you can access it online.

If your Sent email is appearing on your Pearl (which I think is what you're saying) you can hide it.

Go into your Messages folder, and set Options>General Options and set "Hide Sent Messages" to Yes.
