Opera Mini Browser on Pearl 8100
 

I cant seem to get the Opera Mini Browser to work on my Pearl. I hav e followed directions from other users to adjust the APN and nothing changes. I have the wap broser enabled on my account. What am I missing?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Me too. T-Mobile Family plan, MyFaves - $4.99/mo for 400 messages, and $5.99/mo T-MobileWeb is what I have.

Been having this problem for months. on again off again....mostly off.

I could be wrong but don't you need BlackBerry Unlimited Add-on $19.99 to be able to access the web?

I have the same problem with opera and also live search.

No, I access the web fine with the BB browser. Any site too, not just pre-selected wap sites by T-Mobile. Of course, some sites won't render correctly but the point is, it seems to be unlimited access. But I can't get any other application (Opera Mini, GMail, etc.) that accesses the internet to run. I think maybe the key is, you have to have the service books for it. I have WAP service books but not web service books.

I had problems until I de-selected "wi-fi" under Opera settings.

It may be worth a look.
