I'm a newby here and already found a lot help in this site with all your comments.
I have some questions at this time:
1. Is there a way on the Pearl to block a phone number? What I want to do is to prevent receiving calls from a given number to my device.
2. Is there a way to silence the phone ringer instead of pressing the Ignore option? Some people knows that your call has being "ignore" if it goes to fast to the VoiceMail. They may get mad at the idea.
3. Can I use the Blackberry as a bluetooth modem for a Windows laptop? I found something over the internet about it but it was written for Mac OS computers. Not Windows.
There's a program available that will allow you to set screens for calls...can't remember the name now, discussions on it have gone on in the Aftermarket Software forum here. It might be called Whitelist?

2.) Don't press ignore. Press the volumne button on the side down, it will silence the ringing but allow it to continue to transfer to Vmail as normal.

It's a much more polite way to not answer a call.... "I didn't hear the phone" as opposed to I just gave you the finger!
Id rather just give them the finger lol. I dont mind hitting ignore especially if I am in a meeting or just not in a place where I can answer the call. I havent ever thought twice about hitting ignore.
Thanks guys! I found something over the Internet regarding using the BB Pearl as an Internet modem. It mentions that the device must be connected through the cable and not by bluetooth. Haven't try it yet but will post as soon as I can.
Thanks for tip #2. That's what I was looking for. About blocking calls, I'll search for the 3rd party application. Thanks for that one too.

2. You can also use the MUTE button located on the top of your BB.
