Hi,
I have a new Verizon Pearl and have migrated from a Treo, so this is my fist BB Experience. The Treo allowed me to maintain separate email boxes for my different accounts which was nice for organization. Does the BB offer that capability. I cannot seem to find how to separate my Gmails from my Main mailbox that hosts my work messages.

Anyone know?

There is one folder that will get all messages but each mail box should have its own icon as well. If you set it up correctly that is. If you are just forwardingthe mail to your bb account then its not possible. I have a seperate account for each mail box on my device.

As Dawg notes, all your email always goes in to the Messages folder...you can't change that.

You should have a separate email icon on your BB desktop for each email account, in addition to the Messages icon. (Unless you're on a BES at your company, in which case you'll just have the Messages icon and separate icons for non-work email accounts...in that case you don't get a separate icon for your BES work email account).

ahh thats it. i am on a BES at work, so i guess i just need to suck it up.

A warning...there is a program that provides a separate email icon for work email on BES, but it doesn't work on OS 4.3, and Empower (who makes it) hasn't said if they will update it.

You should drop them a line and ask about it...my wife would love to have this app (she's on a BES) so she could have a separate work email icon, and the more who ask, maybe they'll update it.

i just sent them a message and thsi was the response:

"Hi Sat,
We are also very much want to release it, but the dev team has hit some roadblocks. They are working on it, however there is no ETA as of now."
