Default Upload Photos

Please Login to Remove!

How do i get photos off the Blackberry memory and into my computer? Is there a easy transfer or do i have to email them to myself?

Also how do you upload ALX files that i have downloaded onto my computer for install onto blackberry?

I am new to the world of Blackberry!!

use Roxio Media Manager it allows you to drag and drop either from device memory or media card. for ALX use the application loader

I get an error that "No additional applicatation designed for your deveice were found".

I know that it is for my device!!

Don't have Roxio Media Manager, is that the only program that works or do i need to get that one?

Look here to solve that error - Application Loader Error - BlackBerryFAQ.com

Basically, that means you have updated the OS on your Desktop Manager but not on your device. You need to install the Device/Handheld OS software as well, otherwise you get that message.

Also, for just downloading photos to your card, you can enable Mass Storage mode when you plug your Pearl into the USB. That means the PC will see your phone as a removable drive and you can just drag and drop the photos into the correct folder on your card from your PC.

since the OP said blackberry memory i showed the media manager option. the Mass Storage Mode only works with media cards and not the physical device memory, whereas Media Manager works with both
