Default Pearl - outlook sync

Please Login to Remove!

I am considering buying a pearl. I would like to sync the calender on the pearl with the Outlook calender (exchange) on my work computer. I can hook up the USB cable but my work does not provide BB support (I will have BIS only through Verizon) nor can I install any software on the work computer. Will I be able to sync by just attaching the BB to the workstation?

I think you are out of luck. You will need desktop manager installed on the PC, which you say you can't do.

For what it's worth, I'm in same situation as you. However, in my case, I don't share my calendar, and no one manages my calendar for me. I keep it as well as my address book on my personal blackberry and sync and backup to my personal PC at home. I use my office computer email for business, of course, but when I'm traveling, I communicate via my blackberry as necessary with the people I'm working with. Works for me. Might work for you. As as I say, for what it's worth.
