Default Is there an AIM client yet?

Is there finally an AIM client...for my pearl 8100? I am on cell one, at&T i goto blackberry.com/aim and try to download it says its not for my version.

I've been reading posts from 2006 that it is coming out. Any ideas?

i am running:
v4.2.0.71 (Platform 2.2.0.41

I'm not sure of an official AIM client, but JiveTalk is a good instant messaging app to try. It lets you access AIM, MSN, Yahoo, and a few others. If you go to the website (BeeJive :: JiveTalk mobile messenger - instant messaging to go) you can download a free trial. I use it mainly for MSN and Yahoo and havent had any problems. Hope that helps!

JT is the single best App i have used. of course that will all change with Slingbox

you can get OZ as well, right from your phone.
Medianet>tones, games, apps>cool tools/apps>community&photos>mobile IM

Although, it uses SMS instaed of data. I use that and Ramble, still deciding which i like better, as i have unlimited BBConnect and Unlimited messaging

i downloaded aim from my phone and it works but it uses text messages....i dont know if thats already been known just pointing out cause everyone was telling me there wasn't one at all besides ones like jivetalk....hope this helped....
