I read some prior posting but nothing seems to work. I tried hiding it with the battery but doesn't fit. Somewhere in the pouch doesn't fit.

I need to carry with me an additional micro sd card for my phone, since getting a 12\18GB microsd is not practical right now. Anything short of creating my own pocket on the back of the pounch; without creating a bulge on the phone pocket pouch. Any product or other ideas?

What on earth are you carrying that is 12/18gb?
If I had to carry everything I wanted I'd need a terabyte strapped to my leg, ha

you can tape it to the back of the battery cover. thats what i did first.
*you can also get a micro-to-usb converter key chain. i have the reader on my keychain and im carrying a 4gb in it. that works for me.

the 12 and 16gb were announced at CES, but i havent seen them in production yet. What size card do you currently have? the 8gb work just fine in an 8130.

As to the problem at hand, the device is designed to be small. you can carry another+reader in a small plastic case in your pocket, or on the keychain as described above. But i am also curious, most people do not carry around 8gb+ of information without a laptop.

The 8130 battery cover is slightly loose...you might be able to fit a micro-SD card between the battery and the cover. I don't know if that would have any affect on the card, but it shouldn't, on the 8100 the card is under the battery. Worth a try...

Some cases have a pocket inside for an extra memory card, I think Best Buy has some.

Since some of you are curious, for probably the wrong reasons.: I currently have a 6GB card in my phone; 4GB is loaded with my favorite mp3.

The reason I need a bigger cards is because I am learning a new foreign language on video and I've gotten 45 mp4 lessons at 150MB each. ( Watching and learning from the BB is fantastique.) That comes out to about 7GB of storage space.

Because I don't like to carry extra stuff, so put it all in one card is ideal. Anyways. Sandisk hasn't released their 12GB card yet so I'm willing to buy an 8GB just for those mp4 . That is why I need to know what's the best way to store an extra microsd.

1. keychain=may not work for me because I throw my keys around
2. another case at bestbuy. The current OEM case is optimal for my pocket. Any bigger and I'm concern,but I'll go look at bestbuy.

3.Wallet= I like this idea, since I'm on the go with my phone, my wallet is likely to be with me as well.

I am very curious to see if the current OS could handle that. I would absolutely love to be able to carry all of my music and pictures with me on the go, but I would need a 12 because I currently have about 7.5 GBs of music on my computer. I will eventually have to get either a 8 gb or a preferably a 12 GB. I really hope they work with not to much slow down or I hope they don't ruin the device. I have ALOT of media and I really want this card, but even though its on sale I haven't seen anyone on this board who have purchased the card yet.... idk but at 180 its kind of a risk. If someone was to test it and it come out working okay then I'd gladly purchase it for that price.
