Thumbs down 8130 Questions from new owner

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all,

What a great resource. I am a new 8130 owner and have a few questions that I can't find an answer to.

1. Is there a way to get the phone to make a noise when I have new voice mail waiting to be read?

2. When I set the ringer volume to loud (select the red speaker) my phone vibrates rather than making the ringer louder. How do I work around that?

3. Sometimes my phone vibrates on incomming calls rather than ringing. How do I correct that?

4. I have a blue tooth hands free speaker phone accessory in my car. Is there any way to get the phone to autoconnect when both the phone and the speaker phone accessory are turned on. As it works now the phone asks if I want to accept the connection. That means each time I get in the car I have to take the phone out and remember to click yes before I can use the hands free unit. My old phone just knew when it was near the speaker phone accessory and autoconnected. That sure was more convenient.

Thank you for any help you can give me on any or all of these issues.

Bill

Thumbs up Quick

Thank you for the fast and accurate answers.

I wonder how a person without access to this forum is supposed to figure out things like that? The manual sure doesn't cover much.

In any case thank you so much.
