Is there any way to select a large number of emails and delete them on the 8130? I have been deleating them one at a time and that is taking too long. I need a faster way. Thanks, Bill

Hold down your SHIFT key while scrolling. You can select adjacent messages that way, and delete en masse.

You can highlight the date above the email, press the menu key and select delete prior.

Point to date header and choose delete prior from menu. Or manually highlight a group of message headers and delete. Or search on sender, subject or whatever, and use delete prior on the search results.
