Is there an application or other way of showing events or appointment with a different color or icon in the month view? I have recently upgraded (and I mean upgraded) from the treo 650 and was able to use color dots and icons to distinguish work, personal, and misc events at glance in the month view and was wondering if this was a possible with the BB.

I love this phone and really appreciate this Forum. I have been able to figure out tons of other problems/issues I have been troubled with but can't seem to find anything on this issue. Thanks everyone in advance for your help.

you should be able to do this with different calendars with OS 4.3 (which you have on your 8130). you can color code the events by calender. Also, welcome to posting on the forums!

Does this mean I would need to run multiple calendars? Sorry for the newbie questions. Also is PocketDay worth it or is there a better application

well if you have multiple calendars you can color code the events based on calendar. i do not believe with the default calendar app you can color code events based on what you are doing (busy, Out of Office, etc)

I feel your pain on that idea.

However, running two calendars don't sound like a bad idea for keeping personal and business separate. Is there a way to load another calendar on BB Curve 8300 or a calendar app out there?
