Default phone list all delete

Please Login to Remove!

My phone list is set to list recent calls. How do I delete all of them at once. I tried shift + p in the message list but the phone call list was not affected although the call log in the message area was able to be deleted. My problem is the call list .
Thanks

Go to Messages. Hit the menu key and select View Folder. Select Phone call logs. Highlight todays date and hit menu and select delete prior.

I did as you directed, but the numbers in the recent calls display in the phone log remain. Any other ideas? Do I need to do a soft reset?

If you deleted all the phone logs in the list of folders as I described there shouldn't be anything left. Do the same with missed calls in the list of folders as well.

I deleted the content of both folders. The listed recent calls in the phone log remain. Note that I have the phone log set to list recent calls, not all calls and not missed calls. I am testing this by dialing some calls so that they go into the recent calls list. Then I find them in the call log folder. I delete them all usi h delete prior in the call log folder, but they stay in the call log program listing of recent calls.

I should add that I have the latest OS. ...97 and I removed a lot of unnecessary files includund VAD per the instructions on this forum. Maybe that is the problem.

Interesting that this is still present. If you reboot the BB, is the list still there?

Yes. And all message folders except email are empty.

And if you delete a call from that phone dialer app... does it delete and stay gone, or not?

Sounds like this list view must be using its own database or something.

Ok, if you go into the phone app and choose options, if you set phone list to recent calls the calls can only be deleted one at a time and only in the phone app. If you choose call log, the list can be deleted from the message area as you described using either the folders or shift + P to get into the call log folder. So the recent call list must be a separate database. So how do we delete recent calls all at once? We now understand the structure but the question remains!
