Default intermittent bluetooth connection

Please Login to Remove!

I have the latest desktop manager.

My pearl is connected via bluetooth (blue light flashing, blackberry device manager on the taskbar says my PIN - connected) but the desktop manager will say that it is disconnected.

Then at random times, for no reason at all, it will connect and the sync process will start (i have it set to auto start when connected).

I can't seem to figure out why. I am using the windows bluetooth software and have followed the blackberry instructions.

when i start the desktop manager, it will ask me if I want to connect to my phone via bluetooth. I click yes. There is no error. But it still says disconnected after the both the computer and my phone says that it is connected.

Everything says connected except the desktop manager basically.

Anyone else encounter this?
