Hello guys, well my new 8100 pearl is having a problem, when I browse through the default ringtones and hit one to play it, the phone crashes for a bit and then gives me this error: Uncaught Exception Java.lang.classcastexception

I searched for this error in the forum and came up with different errors than this one, so I beg you for some help, I am VERY noobish with BB's, since mine hasnt got more that 1 day of use.

Should I go to the retailer and get it replaced? or might be a way to get it fixed, I believe there must be some software issue other that a defect on the phone itself.

First thing to try is a hard reset. With the blackberry powered on, pull the battery and wait 30 seconds or more before replacing it.
