Smile Cod , Alx File ?? How Come When I Cant Open Them ??

Everytime I try to open applications and to put them on my blackberry it says unknown file and doesnt work.. is there something I have to download onto my compter ?? plz help !!

Well to add apps to your BB through DM you need the BB O.S. installed on your computer.

Sorry to butt in, but I dont know how to create a new thread!! So I'm using yours.

I have a Blackberry 8100 and I have downloaded google maps so I can put it in. The files that came with it were .alx and .cod files. I have loaded the .alx application onto the blackberry, but I have no idea how to install the .cod files.

Please help, I've been trying to find out how to do it for weeks.
