Default Color pearl is crazy. - 02-25-2008, 03:08 PM

I am using the color pearl software, and when I go into colorpearl in options the buttons and trackball dont lite up. After saving my new customer color 000002 which turns it a dark blue, it gos to my customer color. 2 seconds later it gos back to original white and stays that way. Am i doing something wrong?

Are you sure that color code is correct? I tryed it on mine and the track ball stayed white. when I try the preset colors it works just fine. I keep mine on random so I get a different color each time

I think it's the color. I set mine to the color and it's not dark blue, it's a dimmer white. Try using another color.

You might also be putting in the dark, having the OEM white overpower the blue.

I don't think that's a valid color code... at least not according to any of the color charts I've seen. Just an FYI, the code needs to be entered in Hex, not decimal. It doesn't behave as you've described on my 8100. Just a dimmer white.

Check the Ringtone Lighting setting in general Options for the phone, I found that if it is On, it over rides the Color Pearl app.

Color Pearl only works on the 8100, only device with the required LEDs.
